Hey Guys,
I am sure there are tons of posts on this subject but the search engine is acting a little strange and slow.

Basically for my Visa Korea wants my diploma, I don't want to do this so I am making a copy of it. I live in New York State and my basic question is, what kind of copy does it have to be i.e. color or black and white, and where can I get that copy notarized and also get an apostille. I am close to NYC so I will go directly to the Korean Consulate to get them to stamp it, just to make sure Korea accepts me on my first try.

I have already gotten my criminal background check notarized with an apostille and the State Dept. Can I take my copied diploma to the place?
Thanks for the help,

Look up a notary public in the yellow pages.

take your diploma to the notary. Have him/her make the photocopy and notarize that photocopy. The notarized photocopy is now a "true copy". This is what you will send to be apostilled.

I'm sure black and white is fine. It worked for me in PA.

You are going to get the apostille the same way you did for your criminal check.
