| I'm not sure I understand. Are you actually interested in applications right now? Or are we just talking about how nice Laos is? I'll grant it seems nice. Does it have weird jungle animals? That's one thing I appreciate about the northern hemisphere: our animals are normal. Just teeth and fur, no pincers or scales or poisonous stingers. |
The hope is that GB Lao will be in the position that it needs to hire more staff (writer/marketing graphic design etc) in the future. We do not know when naturally. I was merely putting the thought out there.
I will be happy to keep any and all informed. Clearly it is advantageous to be proactive it such affairs.
Laos does have its creepie crawlies. I have seen a couple of scorpions and a monstrous centipede in my yard, as well as a large turtle! Oh yeah, three or four huntsman spiders too. They are big and fast but harmless, as most of the critters are. The centipede would cause some serious grief, not death unless you were very young or sick. All of the above were outside!
I heard a story about a foreigner who died from a spider bite, but they were apparently out in the deep jungle trekking and did not get to a doctor for several days. It's safer here than any big Western city dodging traffic; or walking on the sidewalk in Korea dodging motorbikes |
