I personally love Chrome, but admittedly I'm a little bit of a google fanboi. Not immensely but enough to have some bias.
While some of the addons for firefox are great, most are just superfluous. I did like bugmenot but that seems to be b0rked.
Anyway for me the biggest problem with Chrome is not having the ability to adblock, I hate seeing those fucking Travian adverts all over the place, among the countless others. It was possible to use privoxy to stop the adds, but that made most web pages pretty ugly with great big spaces on websites.
Now there is an answer, it takes a bit more effort than installing an addon for Firefox, but the speed of Chrome and just it's simple appearance make the effort worth it imo.
