|

I need someone to answer where one-way tickets are twice as expensive as round trip..why!?
Ive heard the whole "it ensures a seat back" thing, but the thing is, its not like everyone goes and comes back the same times, I mean, im sure there is someone trying to go from one destination and would take your seat anyway.
Ok, but my real question is...I found a sweet flight special for a one way ticket from hongkong. but now I have to get to Hong kong cheap, ( i live in japan)
now i can find round trip tickets for under $200, but if i look for any one-way, the cheapest is $600 , and just shoots up from there? what the hell is going on?
can i just get this round-trip ticket and "miss" the flight home? has anyone ever done thing? why ever buy a one-way ticket!? |

sure, you can flake on the return. They're not going to send the cops after you. |

And, of course, this is one of the reasons for overbooking of flights. |
