Anyone who has traveled with other airlines internationally or has experience in this dept please explain: Im going to be flying with singapore airlines in august. Im planning to carry with me to the plane a regular gym bag of clothes, a laptop backpack, and a pillow. Will they consider that pillow an item over the allowance?
I've flown on southwest for domestic stops and a pillow didn't bother them...im speaking about how well it would go over on an international flight... |

i've flown on many different international flights/carriers, and always take a pillow. i've never had a problem with it - no one's ever questioned me bringing it on with a backpack and a large computer bag. |

I always travel with an inflatable neck pillow. For me they're better than a normal pillow, and it doesn't take up any space. Great for the beach, too... |

My first year here, I brought two regular sized pillows with me as carry-ons. I just secured them to my carry-on luggage and slept like a queen on the plane! |

I'd imagine that if it's a travel pillow that you could probably squeeze it into your gym bag, and just take it out once you get on the plane. |
