Hi
Does anyone know if the crb check(police check) can be used for more than one job, say if you quit one job or were unfairly dismmissed, sacked etc?
Or do you need to have a new one?
I was also wondering if these crb's have a lifespan. Are they not accepted after a certain amount of time, ie 6 months.
Many thanks |

Hi.
This would depend on the company you are applying for and their requirements.
I dont think they have a vadility period but the job you are applying for may want it to have been issued within 3 months for example. I know 3 months is a common time frame.
The other thing is do you have the original? EPIK have mine and a photo copy will most likely not be accepted by anyone.
I think there are other circumstances such as not having returned to the UK since the CRB was issued for example that may allow it to be older.
Maybe this will help you a little bit. |
