Recently a memorandum was issued to all schools from the Ministry of Education stating that they need to take all precautions regarding the swine flu outbreak.

I am wondering what your school's policy is and if you agree with it?

I'm not sure what the policy is. I've been here over 4 hours today and haven't spoken with anyone. Most days are like this. Today's even more lonely since it's test day and I have no classes.
But from what I've noticed the school's policy on anything I do is ok as long as no one else has to do anything. It's a pretty simple relationship. The trick is knowing the schedule and learning when it's possible to take vacations.

No one's said anything to me...I assume it's similar to Bill Clinton's policy of gays in the military. Laughing

Nice. Laughing

I am just trying to see what the majority of places are doing, as we are about to implement a policy, and I want to make sure that it is similar to what other schools are doing.

My belief is that most would say, take the week off and the following week is unpaid. Our company just doesn't want what happened to CDI to occur here. So they are being cautious. A small academy might be different, but when you have 2700 students, 25 foreign teachers and over 100 staff members, the potential for spreading the flu is larger.

I still don't believe that this is an epidemic, but people love fueling the fire.

Haha, funny. If I were a flamer at least I'd probably get a reaction from someone. I feel more like the invisible man on days like this.
