I'm getting married in August back in the states but won't have time there to look for a dress. I've heard a street near Ewha is the place to look. Has anyone gone there before? Do they tailor, custom make? How much should I expect to pay? Just curious...

I went there briefly but was told that a dress (unless you are tiny) would probably cost about $800-$1200 to make. i guess it's the area.

i personally went online to David's bridal. they are great with measurements, and you can hear descriptions of the fit from people who have worn that style, like, the waist fits small, it's really long even in heels, etc. they can ship to an address back home in 3 days. my dress was gorgeous and only cost $175 beacause it was on sale at that time. i got some alterations done for $140, and considered it a steal... don't put yourself through the headache of trying to get one here and then trek it through the airports to get home. just my opinion!
