Hiya,
Searching for some materials relating to a camp coming up. 2 week program, featuring 7 50 minute sessions focusing on western style English classrooms. Searching for work sheets, as well as stories to go along with these worksheets, or at least something to go by to develop from this. Lesson plans would also be wonderful. I'm not looking to directly copy, but something to point me in the right direction would be very appreciated.

The Oxford Picture dictionary.
For Easy stories use
Strange stories in the News.
For Substitution actitivities and Listen and repeat use
Side By Side
For Information gaps, Word Finds, Crosswords and Roleplays use
Bogglesworld
For Peer Dictation, Sequence drilling, Role plays, Surveys,
Anything by Andrew Finch. Do yahoo search on

WES,
I have a few things you may be able to use:
www.ralphsesljunction.com
or, you could just make your own stuff like I and many others do. Just think of a theme and build from there, you know, like this:
Western English Classrooms
Vocabulary -
Listening Exercise -
Reading Exercise -
A couple of grammar points incorporated into Speaking
Speaking exercises
Role-Play That would be your best bet. |
