I understand that simulates a laughing sound.
I understand that ^^ represents eyes closed in a smile.
Someone just sent me a letter which contained .
What does that mean?
Are there any other gems which I am missing?

Since it would sort of be H-H-H
I sounds to me like it would be laughing
Then again I want to know what a literon is .... never heard of it before but I can kind of deduce what it would mean -- "ain't" in any dictionary I've seen |

Thanks, Dogbert!
The same person just sent me a message with a line ending with 0.
I wonder what that is.
Lonely on the Rok, I think I made a mistake.
I think the word I wanted was emoticon. |

That is a smiley with a nose.
There are others. -_- is kind of a frustrated face.
^^;;; is an embarrassed smile, where ;;; is sweat.
the one where you use 2 Korean characters for "yu" means very sad. |

Ya-ta Boy, do you mean ?
What does that mean?
Lonely on the Rok, I just changed the title of this thread from literon to emoticon.
Apparently, the founder of a thread can change the title of the thread.
How about that! |

Ooooookay, if ya say so
I figured emoticons was the meant descriptor, but who knows, there could have been a new word invented for e-mail based type things, I have no clue, that's why I raised it, but okay .... |

I find it kind of funny that my students sometimes include the emoticons in their written notes and assignments to me.

I want to fing cool cell message art. I've seen some neat ones, like a big with ears and a plump nose. Anyway, I know there's a site out there but I haven't had the chance to find it. It might be cool article for the Seoul Classified... |
