Good luck. I'm mulling it myself here in sunny Anyang.

I would like to those who have voiced their support. This is a daunting task. The start up costs seem to be quite high. NOt sure if I will be able to do this. But I would like to try.
Then I can make decisions that make no sense.
Treat my teachers likes slaves
Be really really cheap
Cheat waygooks
And make lots and lots of money hahahahaha

I have also thought about opening one with my Korean spouse. Made a few enquiries - a lot of hassle in terms of paper work but possible. We may do it later. Problem is - someone would have to deal with all those mothers! The way I'd like to teach would not satisfy them... However, I think I could easily be more successful than local hagwons - I reckon I could set up shop right in the middle of a bunch of them (as they seem to do - not that I really would) and drive them out of business - teaming up with a couple of other good teachers would reduce costs and add to the professionalism of the operation.

If you're thinking of it - go for it! Will probably be the wave of the future.

I'm near Anyang too ...
