Ok, I'm a freak and I admit it. Here are some of the things I'm guilty of in Korea.
I have a motorcycle and I ride it EVERYWHERE. Even if the store is 50 meters down the street I ride it. Why? So I can avoid people.
First thing in the morning, I wait until everyone passes before I get on my motorcycle. I don't want to see anyone before I start my bike and start to ride.
I have to change my routine often. I never go to the same store or restaurant too many times. If I've been gone from an establishment for too long, I won't go back for fear that the business owner will be upset because I haven't been patronizing his/her business.
My biggest decision everyday is what to eat for dinner. I sometimes wrestle with this decision for an hour before I can finally make up my mind.
I have to hide my bottles of soju from the land lady because I'm afraid she'll think I'm an alcoholic and call my school about it.
The maid at our school is so ugly that I can no longer eat lunch in the cafeteria with her present.
I don't choose a restaurant on the quality of food but rather on the availability of open space and seclusion.
This is the complete opposite of the Z in America.
I do like it here though. It's like a paid vacation. |

LOL - I plan where I sit at the cafeteria and when I go around who the biggest pigs at the table are, too. |

i don't think this makes you freaky. i would rather eat average food in a great setting (and/or quiet, free of screaming kids, ajumas, mothers, etc.) than great food in a restaurant with lots of people. |

Ditto.

I never walk the same way back to my apartment from my hakwon in the same two days, so I rarely see the same people.
I have taxis drop me off at the grocery store instead of my apartment, then wait for the taxi to leave, so he doesn't know what building I live in.
I never go on the street between 1:15 and 2:00, that's when the elementary school kids walk home from school.
I never buy all of my groceries from the same market so that nobody can determine my buying patterns.
When packages are delivered to my home, I push the button to open the door, walk out the door and up a flight of stairs and watch to make sure that only the delivery guy is standing outside my door before I come down the stairs. |

Why would you care if someone knows your buying patterns? |

You sound like a recluse Zulethe.
I'm not in Korea yet, so I'll have to wait till I get there to see what quirks I develop. |

I'm a creature of habit. I like to go to the same gimbap place for dinner. When I hear the ajummas whispering that I'm going to order cheese donggase, I order a jjiage instead even if I did want that tasty donggase.
I like to count how many women wearing high heels are running in the morning.
I feel naked without my ipod when I go hiking, it's so similar to walking in a busy city that I like to look cool |

Everytime I have a can I have to crush it. I could be on a silent train with 40 ajummas and I'll have an empty can of Polcari sweat and I'll have to crush it.
I like to swivel my phone and mp3 player in my hand.
I like to air guitar ALL the time. Public places, gimbap naras, in the bathroom, subways, buses, a few times in Homeplus and Emart. |

Given your utter lack of compassion exhibited in the model-actress/breach of contract thread together with what you say you do here, I hope I never have to meet you.
Out of morbid curiosity, what do you air guitar to? Korean riffs? Ah god... |
