I have a Geforce 7600GT

What kind of cable do I need?

I just have a standard RGB/VGA cable with an adapter connected to the video card but I think I should get something better.

Just a simple DVI cable right?

Then if I want to hook up a 360 or something to it I'd need an HDMI cable...?

Looks like you will need a DVI cable for your computer to monitor, and an Xbox HDMI cable for your 360. (you can get third party cables for the xbox through either yongsan's console market or online)
