Hello,
I tried searching around the forums for places to have a drink and hang out after work but was not very successful.
In any case, I just moved to Ilsan from Incheon and I live a stones throw away from La Festa (very cool place by the way)
I was just wondering (as stated before) where a good bar or hang out place is around here. The problem is that I work with nothing but ladies (very cool ladies) but its kind of hard to go looking for cute Korean girls when you are lugging around other cute Korean girls who are your co-workers. Needless to say I don't have a wingman or whatever but I don't care, I just want to know a place where I can relax, have a beer or two, smoke a few cigarettes and perhaps meet some intriguing Korean women.
Does anybody know of such a place?
There were a few in Incheon (Bupyeong specifically) and for some reason Ilsan seems to have a lot more attractive women so I know they congregate somewhere to have a drink as well.
Anyhow, your help would be much appreciated.

Theres a few!
Try the frog and toad- seems to be the main place for westerners. Its near the taxi rank. At the far end of La festa. Or indeed, try Bar Boom later on at night. Maybe after 12. |

You could also try Rosenbrau (It's on the third floor, right in the middle of Lafesta). I always see tons of foreigners. They have German style beer and cover bands from the Philippines. |

You could also try 236. It's a Tex-Mex place that is open at 5 on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. Sundays they have a western style brunch. If you are at the Ilsan Police station bus stop, get on the corner where the Fire station is and walk like you are going to La Festa. At the first intersection (small one) look across the street and cross to the suit shop, keep going straight past another small street and the convenience store. When you see the parking lot turn left (before, not after) look up for the sign that has a highway interstate symbol with 236 on it. I think it's the second or third store on the left. |
