I'm trying to get a position at a hagwon in Daejeon, but want to make sure I get one that is reputable and won't leave me stranded because it went out of business or something... *worrier* If anyone has any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!!!

The best I can recommend you do is talk to the current teaching staff and see what their take on the school is. That being said, it isn't a guarantee. I was at a school last year that had a somewhat solid rep... then three months into the contract the school when sideways (as in 9 teachers and 4 managers leaving in a period of 9 months, all before contracts up).
Take everything with a grain of salt. If the school is part of a franchise, you may be better off, but in the end... it may be nothing more than a crap shoot. |
