I'm looking to apply online for the 30 day extension.

Do I need anything other than my ARC/ID # to apply on the website?

Also, is the website just the Korean immi site?

Thanks.

It depends on what kind of extension you are looking for. If you want a working extension then you need to go to immigration with a contract, the companies business license and confirmation of employment.

If you simply want to stay in Korea to clear up your things and not work, then you can apply for it online here:

You will need your exiting plane ticket to apply for this.

I'm not sure the name of the extension. Basically my ARC expires on the 2nd, and my contract ends on the 24th, so I need that 20 day extension.

Would it be the "Extension of stay for registered foreigners?"

http://www.hikorea.go.kr/pt/CvlapplInfoDetailR_en.pt?cvlapplCd=12700000097&locale=en&cvlapplGbSeq=

Also, if I do the e-application, do I need to go an immi branch after? If so, do I go to my local branch (I live in Seocho-gu) or the one in Mokdong?

I believe, but could be wrong, but to extend a working visa, you need to actually visit immigration as they will want 30,000 won and all the other documents I mentioned before. As well, they will have to write on the back of your ARC.

Make an appointement threw that website so that you don't have to wait 3 hours in line. You can be in and out in 15 minutes.

South of the Han goes to Mokdong, North goes to Sejogno.

Yes, I need the working extension from Aug 2-Aug 24th, but I think it's automatically a 30-day extension, right?

Other questions:

Do I have to pay 30,000? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere.
Do I need to bring my medical check?
Also, do you know what the business licence and confirmation of employment is on hangeul?
