Sometime in early to mid July, I am planning on taking 7-10 days or so to tour Korea on my motorcycle. I have been in Korea almost 5 years now, and have been to many places, though I have never really traveled to the western part of the country.
For this reason, I plan to leave Daegu, head south and visit a few people in Ulsan/Changwon/Busan..then head west, somewhat hugging the coast and then north along the western coast. I plan to spend my nights either in a tent, jimjilbang, or with folks I have hooked up with from couchsurfer.com. I hope to visit some wilderness areas, take some great pics, and maybe make a few new friends along the way.
I had seen in the past other posters here have spoken highly of Wando. Aside from there, I have no other particular place in mind to visit.
Any suggestions about great places/festivals/cities that might be able to provide great memories and a unique experience? |
