|

So I've been on the Korean board forever and I now want to post on the international board. I put in for a new username a few days ago but it still hasn't been activated. Any tricks to making this happen? |

Did you also email Dave stating why you wanted to join that board? That is how you get activated. |

Really? What kind of fiefdom might this be? Kiss his ring also...?
I hope others can clarify. I was an active member of the Int. board from 2000. Then last year kicked off. I'd like to reapply but won't be kissing any rings.

I guess you forgot how you got activated on this board as well? For all his boards you have to send him a personal email. Once you sign-up, the email you used to register gets an auto response email from the system saying you should email Dave and tell him WHY you want to join.
Since you are on this board, and that policy has been in place since I joined 2yrs before you, you already have "kissed his ring" so to speak. |

LOL!
I guess he didn't notice HOW I kissed his ring. I just got an automated response back to my automated response.... But for my reapplication I'll be sure to post a 20 page educational philosophy.

Tpak,
Have you ever done anything to do with marketing?
What do you think is the value of a database? I'll let you figure it out from there.... although in this day and age, I think the request for address and phone number is just something like rust...never been attended to. Hangover, like a lot of stuff that is circa 1999.
