Hi
I am looking to get my hands on two (not necessarily the same) helmets for a bike that I have just bought.
Looking for something fairly decent, clean, safe and of good quality.
Anyone have some lying around?
Thanks |

Spend 80,000 KRW each and get yourself some new, but good, xpeed helmets from a local dealer.
Used helmets are never a good idea unless you trust the buyer. This is strictly for safety sake. If you don't care about that, any old hard hat will pass the cop's scrutiny.
In Seoul? Go to Toegyero 5ga. Go to Chungmuro Station exit 8 and walk east for a few blocks. You'll pass pet shops, so stop and see some pups. You'll come to the motorcycle shops after that. On the left, 2 stores before the Arai helmet shop, you'll see an accessory store with a orange/red awning. They are super cool and have good prices on low-end helmets.

Bippty is spot on too, used helmets are chancy at best. When you consider that you are protecting your brain, its worth buying new.
And as for HJC helmets, earthbound14 is right, they are good quality helmets.

I've got 4.
Some scuffs on all.
The gray helmet is an XL sized HJC CL-14. It has some scratches on the side of the visor from moving day, and some paint is flecking off of the top from where I let it roll off of the deck of my old scooter. Not perfect, but solid and safe. I bought silver because my black HJC's were stolen twice. You can replace the visor if you want. I might have a clear visor around somewhere in a box, but I can't promise that. Not sure what condition that would be in, either.
The others are all in decent condition with scratches here and there. Red one with butterfly is a small. White one is more like a medium, if memory serves. The black one is just a skullcap-style, offering little protection. It'll fit a large to XL head just fine.
10,000 for the smaller ones. 25,000 for the big HJC.
50,000 if you buy the lot.
