in my experience, most regular k-teachers in hagwons make between 1 and 1.5 mil.

In the hagwans I've worked at, the Korean teachers earned about 1 mil -1.5 mil.
However, they taught significantly fewer classes than the foreign teachers,
usually about half as many.
They did have a lot more work to do/class though. |

It depends on what area they teach. TEPs and special classes like that will always bring in more. |

A talanted and well educated KET, who consistently produces results, will make much more than a NET. However, they may as well live in the school, as they will spend ALL their time teaching; think 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. |

i have a friend who only does 1 on 1 classes rakes in 50k an hour |

GF was looking for job recently. Average for regular elementary school-age hagwon work is 1.5 million with no benefits. Don't believe the BS people post that they get paid more. Of course there are exceptions but for regular jobs, no way. |
