I'm not really one to fret much about whether war will happen, however a thought popped into my head the other day: where could I get a gas mask? A stashed mask in my closet would be a pretty good idea, it seems to me. Anyone have any thoughts?
I'm prepared for the onslaught of "wtg newb another war post" |

Not gonna lie, I'm interested in knowing this too. I mean, it might seem stupid, but I'd like some protection once the mustard gas starts flying |

Steal a chemical hood out of the subway station (their in the brown bag things locked in the glass cabinet lol)
Though they might only be good against smoke... Not 100% sure |

Really? No ideas? I guess I'll query ebay or something. You'd think that many people in Korea would have them lying around, just because. |

You aren't going to be killed by gas, you're going to be killed by a building falling on top of you, or getting trampled to death on the underground, or by a big bright light, or by nuclear fallout. Or all four at once.... |

Yeah, a gas mask ain't gonna help. These days chemical warfare requires protection like a MOPP 4 suit because the gases can easily be absorbed through pores and any other skin contact. The MOPP suit has to be airtight and will only help for a limited amount of time. If gas were used, you'd be pretty well screwed. |

I'm also of the opinion that a gas attack is unlikely, but it may also come in handy should your building/school catch fire.
You can probably track one down at the safety equipment stores around Cheonggyecheon at Euljiro-3-ga station (line 2). They have loads of things like fire extinguishers, alarms, boots, gloves, masks etc. and should stock industrial masks or rebreathers. |
