| I'm seriously thinking about getting a phone jammer while home in the states sometime. Any idea what CDMA and 3G frequencies they use here? |

I dont think a jammer bought in America would work in Korea. The Korean Frequencies are unique in the world.
The rest of the world follows one of two frequency plans:
850/1900 MHz US and Americas
900/1800 MHz Europe and Africa, most of Asia
Korea and Japan use their own set of frequencies, different from each other and different from the rest of the world.
In the US and Canada the Cellular 850 cellular frequency range is used:
824 to 849 MHz Mobile to base (Uplink)
869 to 894 MHz Base to mobile (Downlink)
and also the PCS 1900 Frequencies:
1850-1910 and 1930-1990
Korea uses Cellular 800 frequencies which overlap the US 850 range a little bit but not exactly.
The Korean PCS Frequencies are totally different from US:
1750-1780 and 1840-1870 |
