I took the printer/scanner to Ansan and someone agreed to pay 70,000 won for it with the understanding I would ship the paper tray. Since I don't print, I only bought it (used) to scan, I never tested printing or even noticed a paper tray missing. Either I didn't get one when I bought it used in March (the previous owner forgot the USB cord and I had to go up to Seoul to pick it up, so I think I never had it), or I simply lost it.

Well, the buyer now wants his money back since I can't find it, and when I delivered it we tested it printing. There were paper jam errors galore, and then we got it working without paper jam errors and I would say if you wanted to print 3 copies on and off it wouldn't be too annoying. However, it seems that the buyer needs it to print a lot of copies and it would be better for him to get another printer/scanner.

Due to the problems we were having with it printing, the price of a new scanner/printer, the fact it was only made to print black and white, and the size of it, I don't want to deal with carrying it around. I am looking to get rid of it.

If someone wants something to scan and print (light printing) without a paper tray, then all you need to do is pay the cost for shipping it. If you can add 10,000 or 20,000 won that would be great. I am just looking for a place to ship it to and move on.

If interested, email [email protected]

I don't have a photo of the scanner, but it's the same as below:

If you are in Seoul or near Pyeongtaek, I can deliver it.

Make sure you click the link and read everything in my original post. It is a laser printer. The ink replacement costs probably 10,000-15,000 won (BLACK ONLY!!).

I have only had it a few months because I bought it used. I haven't copied much with it since I can use my school's fancy copy machine. I got it mainly to scan not print. I don't do much printing anyway.

Izzit really worth all that mucking about for such a small amount of money...? Which in the end, generates no satisfaction for either party.

More often than not, piddly little deals like this end up being long drawn-out affairs that never should have gotten that far - wasting time and some amount of money in the process; important resources that will never likely be recovered.

Add to that the futility of having to explain to some dullard how your time and effort are worth so much more than the return you're seeking on the item you're trying to pass along, and probably at a substantial loss.

I find that it's just better to give small stuff like that away - or throw it away. And then I don't end up getting "married" to some pest quibbling endlessly over pointless trivialities.

Life's so much cooler when we don't sweat the small stuff.

Anyway, have a nice summer!

Johnny Conqueroo,

I hear you. I am working down to what you are saying.

STAGE 1 - Is the printer/scanner worth getting the 90,000 won I paid? Well, I used it, so I would have liked 70,000. After testing the printing capabilities and finding out from someone who prints stuff, unlike me, it was realized it is not worth 70,000 won I wanted.

STAGE 2 - Does someone want something to mostly scan and print once in a while? This is the stage I am at now. I have 3 people interested, one has offered to put money into a paypal account.

STAGE 3 - If stage 2 fails, then I will be looking for places to donate.

STAGE 4 - Throw it off a bridge, videotape it, put it on youtube, and make millions of dollars from all the views. Hmm, maybe this should be stage 1 Laughing
