We all know that the North Korean leadership are a school of puff fish, always inflating themselves with bluster, and trying to blackmail the international community while to extort whatever they can in the way of humanitarian aid and so prop up a failed regime.

But let's have a little fun at the Dear Leader's expense by engaging in a little carthatic word play. If it takes off, perhaps we can even make it a contest.

Rules: you may enter any threat you like, either of your own writing, or one you've heard from a colleague. Or you may search the media archives for an "oldie but goodie" from one of the DPRK's mouthpieces. Try to keep it short, although a bit of rambling is fine and would be in keeping with previous threats made. Run-on sentences are perfectly acceptable and vivid imagery is encouraged. It should go without saying that hyperbole is mandatory. Above all, try to be humorous, or witty, or sarcastic as you wish.

My contribution (albeit not very colorful) for now is the very same threat issued from the DPRK yesterday:

"We will make a fire shower of nuclear retaliation on the Americans and all who aid them."

(I usually associate the term "shower" as to aerial displays from meteorites, so this is a new twist. Wonder if Kim has a full-time staff of translators inventing or embellishing these slogans.)

"The world will bow before us in shame and defeat, as we flex our nuclear might in a blatant attempt to compensate for my humiliating hormone imbalance!"
