I am applying for teaching positions with these big corporate hagwons, and have a lot of teaching experience under my belt already... I'd like to hear from those who are CURRENTLY teaching, or have recently taught (within the past year or so) with CDI Busan, YES Youngdo, YBM, POLY School, etc. about their experiences.

I've already read a lot of the posts on here, so I don't need a rehash of all the BS and negativity.

Just the facts. Thanks.

I would avoid YES Youngdo, very bad reputation despite being one of the bigger schools. 11 month firings are not uncommon

You might want to narrow down the locations of the branches/franchises of each company that you would consider teaching at. Then, try a more direct approach in contacting the expats who work there. If you want the "truth", you're going to have to dig for it. Find out where the neighborhood watering holes for each school are and start asking around. Be prepared to buy a few drinks in the process. While many instructors in Korea read this forum, many more do not. Good luck!
