I suppose many of us have seen the Kim Hyeonah ad for ice cream with her foriegn coach. Only it isn't her foreign coach (Brian Orser) in the ad. I wonder why exactly that is? Some possibilites that come to mind are:
- Orser just wasn't available when they wanted to do the shoot.
- Orser didn't want to act like an assclown for a fraction of what Hyeonah would make.
- Korean advertisers tried Orser but felt he wasn't good enough at acting like an [Mod Edit].
- They didn't even consider using Orser - since we all look the same what difference would it make?
My guess is the last one. |

| I've been saying it for years...A white man is a white man is a white man. No difference to 우리나라. Some people like that fustiancurdoroy guy are under the impression that they are a special kind of snowflake. That the laws of waygookism don't apply to them. They think they are respected and feel belonging in the Korea. Sorry dudes....it will never happen....at least in our lifetimes. |

say whatever you want, I still think white guys have a leg up on the average native guy in Asia solely based on your 'exotic' looks. All you have to do is learn the language and assuming you have some 'game' you are set. Sure, Asian men may or may not respect you for your whiteness but remember you don't care about what they think, you are more concerned with how Asian women perceive you.
When an Asian girl sees you, she perceives you to have equal or greater value than herself. I can't say the same about the natives. |

Zantetsuken, calm down. Are you channeling Guri Guy?
Do you remember the C&C Music Factory's video for their big song? They got some slim, good-looking actress to lip-sync instead of using the overweight woman that actually did the vocals. This is quite common in the entertainment and advertising business, not a diabolical policy of 우 리 나 라 and "the laws of waygookism." |

But the white [MOD EDIT] actor they got is fatter than Brian Orser. |
