Nothing but excellent things to say about bestecig.com, great selection, cust service, prices and shipping. no customs worries with either of my orders.
went from a pack a day to zero (well, the odd one) as soon as i got my 901. this is the future.
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ is a great place to find out more, read/watch reviews etc. |

A little update for you boys and girls. I ordered an electronic cigarette and eliquids a week ago. I ordered 130ml of eliquids. The shipment was stopped at the customs. They said that because it has nicotine, only 20ml is allowed, although I'm quite certain they made that on the spot. Anything over that is taxed heavily. Because the shipment was 130ml, while 20ml is the amount they deemed duty free, they said that I would have to pay 200,000W as import tax. That's 200,000W for a 40 dollar product.
Korean customs peeps are robbers in disguise and this is a definite new low for Korea.
I didn't pay the tax and told them to send me 20ml and confiscate the rest, since I wouldn't pay 200 dollars for something i can order again for much cheaper and send it here via mail for half the cost in total. All in all, it's about money and Korean government is keen on getting as much money as possible for absolutely nothing. Welcome to Korea.
Cheers. |

By the way, the money issue becomes that much clearer when you realize that the 150,000W electronic cigarettes sold here can be bought for 40$ anywhere else. Either the tobacco companies have that much leverage over the Korean government that they got them to tax electronic cigarettes by an insane amount, or it's just greed, pure and simple. |

There's a shop that just opened that sells e-cigs right behind the building where I work. It's near 교대 Station ("Seoul National Univ. of Education Station). You come out of exit 6, then go straight for a few meters and take the first right (you'll see Dunkin Donuts, FamilyMart, etc. In about 100 meters or so you'll see a Paris Baguette on the left side of the street. Facing the Paris Baguette, it's directly to the right. I'm not sure what they have since I'm not really a smoker myself, but I see it everyday so I thought I'd share the info. It looks like a place that sells e-cigs only, so perhaps they have a better selection? |
