Me and Cutter-Saram applied to get on contenders (the Arirang TV gameshow), and got summoned to Arirang TV tower on saturday for an audition with a load of other quiz show hopefuls.

We got a call 20mins after leaving, to say that we are on! Cool

Filming is on feb 12th, and we will be aired soon after that, so look out for Monty & Cutter on the TV!!

We will be called 'Team Cutter', and will be going by the names of Monty & Cutter on the show.

We have also been assigned the specialist subject of 'lord of the rings', which may be a problem considering that neither of us have seen any of the films or read any of the books Confused

So its a trip to the video shop tonight and some intensive revision......

2nd win - japan
3rd win - sth east asia
4th win - america
5th win - europe


i think i left a couple out but that is the general idea..

Although despite appearances, you don't actually win multiple trips -- just one vacation that keeps getting better as you win more. And you don't necessarily have to take the specific trip they mention -- you can get an equivalent voucher and go wherever you feel like!

Oh yeah -- Monty, I think the taping date is February 11th, not the 12th. It's always on Wednesdays.

Wait....so if you're first you win a trip to Jeju and the lower you come the farther away from Korea you have to go on your trip. Like a Korean punishment. "What do you mean there's no kimchi in Sweden....? I wish we'd come first. Damn you Monty I told you his name was Bilbo"

Please try not to be an embarrassment to foreigners in general by behaving like some of the other foreigners they've had on there.... Rolling Eyes I think the last two guys I saw had had a date with Miss Mary Jane pre-show.

Give us something to cheer about.

Not to blow my own trumpet, but I reckon I could get myself at least a trip to America with some of the stuff they come up with.

I get harder questions at my local pub trivia night.

The hosts are terrible too.

Like I said, give us something to cheer for! Monty and Cutter for Europe!
