Too bad the US isn't more like Korea.
I could become a soccer fan overnight - a rabid one at that. And maybe, just maybe, my girlfriend would put out. "C'mon baby, the US won." |

Anyone know when the next game (match?) is, and how/where I can watch it? |

I think tomorrow (Saturday) at 4:30 PM. I would be down to watch this somewhere in Seoul. |

Football is the most popular sport in the world. I thought that this was common knowledge, but I could be wrong. A quick Google search for "world's most popular sport" indicates that this might be true. |

Ah, most popular. That at least is possible. However, it seems unlikely there is an actual measure for that. |

Not that I'm American but I'd be happy to yell U-S-A !! Hacksaw Jim Duggan style in Seoul. What are the hired help and afternoon drinkers gonna do. Sick of thinking I have to be quiet-ish in Korean pubs. The main reason would be that Brazil are forever dining out on their days of Pele. They're not world champs, get off the stage.
USA did very well against Italy last WC drawing 1- all in a testy match. Dark horse for a semi-final spot 2010 I reckon. |

Dammit... can't find the starting time in Seoul. South Africa is seven hours behind Seoul, so a 4:30 PM Seoul start doesn't make much sense (9:30 AM start for a soccer match? Maybe that's not too weird... I don't know- I never watch soccer, but I thought getting in touch with my national pride might make it more interesting).
Anyone?? |

They beat Spain in the Confederations cup. I don't even know why they hold this tournament or when it started. I do know that no-one cares however. |
