not sure why they would give you eczema cream, cos its specifically an acne cream, as far as i know.

I swear by tea tree oil. I used to have really bad acne. (My mom and dad are in their 60s and still suffer from it.) Then I started using a tea tree facewash every night before bed. Sometimes I'll use a tea tree/witch hazel toner if it seems like I'm going to start breaking out again. I still get an occasional zit, but compared with before my skin is sooooo much clearer. I also make sure to change out my pillow case every other day and wash them in hot water. I found that using mineral foundations over the cheaper stuff has helped as well. |

I would try Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. It is available at Costco or online at Auction/Gmarket. It is often prescribed/recommended by dermatologists for problem/sensitive skin.
In addition, use a drying agent such as those mentioned earlier or benzoyl peroxide (maybe 5 %). For reference I used spectroGel 5 %. Haven't seen that particular brand in Korea but you'll be able to get BP no problem I'll wager.
Last, make sure that you always follow up the drying agent with a moisturizer... otherwise your face will produce too much sebum and oils, that will just make the cycle start all over again.
After applying the drying agent, give it 1/2 min to dry and put on the moisturizer immediatley. Be consistent and do this everyday. Give the results time.
For a moisturizer I use Dr.Brandt's poreless moisture(doesn't irritate). You can get it at most Hyundai Dept. or COEX I believe. |

I go to my doctor and get a monthly IPL treatment. NO ZITS EVER and I used to get them all the time before I started. |

Thanks again for the replies. I went to a pharmacy with the Korean and English text. I got a tube of it from the pharmacy for only 4000W. It came in a cream form so it feels a little heavy which is why I use it only before bed. So far it seems to be helping my skin (not as quick is clean and clear's persa gel but the azaleic acid is easier on my skin and doesn't bleach towels or clothes) |

I've also read studies that say eating meat, dairy products and spicy foods cause pimples.
And like two other posters I've got to recommend all natural tea tree oil!
You can buy it at many shops like The Body Shop, Innisfree, etc. I know the Body Shop has a line of tea tree oil related products such as face wash and so on... |

The Japanese believe that "bukkake" is a good break-out cream. You should give it a try. |

They sell C & C Persagel here, I've bought it at Emart.
Dermatologists here are generally really excellent and can prescribe you topicals for flare-ups. I go to Hus-Hu Clinic in Apgujeong but basically any dermatologist can help you, even if there's a language barrier. I've been to one in Chuncheon and I just showed him my face and had a list of topicals that I wanted to try, and he gave me a prescription for the first one on the list. Cheap and easy! |
