I bought a computer with almost the exact same specs last month for 350k. Keep looking OP, you'll find one in your price range.

I am going to be putting this up for public sale shortly, but it's yours for 300k if you want it (minus the pro audio card)

AMD Turion MLsomething 2.0ghz
1gb Ram
100gb HDD
14.1 inch widescreen XGA looks great and not too reflective
Windows XP or vista, whatever you prefer.
3 month old 10400mah battery (paid 110k) so you get 5-7 hours on one charge.
B/G Wireless
GB Lan
DVD+/- R/RW with Lightscribe
Decent onboard sound and speakers

I've used this laptop for about 2.5years as a day to day computer and for DJ/Production use. If you want it, for 100k more you get an Echo Audio Indigo DJ PCMCIA card...look it up and see if it's of value to ya.

Some downpoints:
1) card reader doesnt work
2) Some discolorations and stuff around the screen (see pics)
3) Some of the rubber on the left touchpad button has worn off (see pics)
4) It gets hot in the lap sometimes (fan works ok though)

Anyway, it boots fast and is good for everything excepting the latest games. I'll add whatever software you like if you want to make/mix music with it.

Pics are here http://picasaweb.google.com/paulkhillier/CompaqLaptopForSale

paulkhillier AT gmail DOT com or 010-8109-0329

P.S. If anyone else is interested in the notebook or Indigo DJ card let me know.

You should be able to find a brand new netbook for about that range. I have an eee PC 1000HA, bought brand new in the States for $380, but it's now gone down and price, and a 900 model is even cheaper, around $300, or W400,000. I haven't seen any here, but I've only looked at the small Emart in my town (village?) of Jukjeon. Good luck.

They're twice as expensive here. Not an option in your pricepoint.
