Where can I get my eyebrows waxed in Seoul? In the States, it's easy to find a place anywhere, but I am new here so I don't know. Just need to get my brows cleaned up a bit but still look manly.

Appreciate your help.

Strangely enough, I wouldn't know a single place in the States for men to do that to themselves.

My guess would be to go find a salon that does waxing and hope for the best my troglodytic friend.

Probably need to go to LA for that, or there might be some clubs in Thailand that could point you in the right direction.

Funniest thread title I've seen in a long time. Thanks.

just tweeze it. You can use an ice cube to numb the area if necessary.

why not do laser hair removal instead of a temporary solution?

that laser is ubber expensive. even for a small area like ur eyebrows. plus, ur supposed to measure ur eyebrows from 3 points. if say, the doctor doesnt know how to do that correctly, u could have flicted looking eyebrows forever, haha

There's a place in Itaewon called the Green Turtle - as far as I know, it's the only place in the whole of Korea which does waxing for men (curse the hairless hangeuks). I've had my chest waxed there three times. I don't know if they do eyebrows for men, but I'd assume they do. The girl who "did" me was okay - not as good as my regular waxer in England, but still competent. Luckily my current girlfriend is happy to give me an Italian edge with my hair clippers every now and again, so I don't bother waxing anymore. It's pricey - my wax was about 120,000 won, double the English price. It's above the Coldstone/Quizno's, just opposite one of the subway exits (number 3, maybe?). The owner is a pretty sinister guy.

Thanks for the few serious responses. For the rest of you, you do realize that it is not your entire eyebrows getting waxed off right, it's just shaping. For a hairy dude like me, it's simple grooming like cutting your nails or getting your hair cut. I don't think anything resembling a unibrow is a good look, at least for me.

And you can get this done pretty much anywhere back in the States, any Supercuts for starters. Koreans aren't that hairy, so it's harder to find someone who knows what they're doing here.

are you talking about my comment or the OP's eyebrow waxing. Wink

In his case I'd say not necessarily necessary but its his call. As for my comment, certainly not necessary, few enough commens here are amigo.

Just never heard of it but now that he explains it, fair enough. Koreans arent the hairiest people and I know a few people back home who could do with similar treatment.

Good luck OP. MYOB weebil, I'm sure if the OP was majorly offended he'd have told me where to go, and fair enough, I was acting the maggot.

I'm a girl, but get mine done at the Green Turtle. No harm in asking if they'll do you.

Pro Nails in Itaewon is a good place to get a wax. I get my back waxed there in the summer. They are located near Itaewon exit #2. Just walk down that back alley like you are going to the bugalow and pronails is directly across from it.

Their phone #: 02-796-9224 -They speak English so no worries.

I'm heading to Seoul next month, and this issue was definitely one that I was worried about! Glad to see I don't need to try doing it myself!
