Just wondering if anyone is taking ACV regularly. My wife and I are interested in taking it. Where is the best place to buy? I saw Apple Vinegar at Home Plus. Is it the same as ACV? |

What is it meant to do? build up your immune system?
i used it to kill veruccas. After years of trying loads of methods including freezing with liquid nitrogen, sticking banana skins on my feet (did work a bit) and various creams etc ACV did the trick.
Strong stuff |

This is from earthclinic.com:
Apple Cider Vinegar, that wonderful old-timers home remedy, cures more ailments than any other folk remedy -- we're convinced! From the extensive feedback we've received over the past 8 years, the reported cures from drinking Apple Cider Vinegar are numerous. They include cures for allergies (including pet, food and environmental), sinus infections, acne, high cholesterol, flu, chronic fatigue, candida, acid reflux, sore throats, contact dermatitis, arthritis, and gout. One reader reported that a shot of ACV saved him from going to the emergency room for heart pain. Apple Cider Vinegar also breaks down fat and is widely used to lose weight. It has also been reported that a daily dose of apple cider vinegar in water has high blood pressure under control in two weeks! |

In other words, total malarkey. But if you're into drinking vinegar, there's stuff in Korea sold as, get this, drinking vinegar! It's pretty good and comes in a variety of flavors. You mix it with water to the desired strength. I drink the stuff because I like the flavor. |

It is tasty.
It won't "break up fat" but if you drink it before meals, it does seem to curb appetite more so than water. It also is great for regularity. I took it regularly in the evening for about two weeks (mixed with water of course). I found it aggravated my acid reflux. This is strange because usually only overeating does this (also when I was 20 lbs heavier). Hell, even habaneros don't exacerbate it. So if you have acid reflux, I do not recommend it regardless of what the websites say.
I suspect cayenne would work just as well depending on your purpose. I have had no issues making a tea from a tincture or mixing ground cayenne in fruit juice. |

It's good for cucumber and onion salad and then it's used in pickling. |
