In my contract it states I must work camps during vacation. I don't mind working camps actually for the pay until I saw this camp.

I have to work three weeks, 15.5 hours a day (with breaks) and might have to stay overnight.

I work for a college. The camp is for its sister college's language school that is owned my the same owner.

Example: (Not the real situation)

I work for Gwangju Technical College, the camp is at the language school for Gwangju University.

Both schools have the same ownership but operate as different entities.

Is this legal or am I only allowed to work for my own school? What is the office I call to clarify this particular issue? Immigration?

It depends on what visa you have.

Since your boss is the owner of both institutions, there may not be much you can do. You should read through the contract carefully to see if they have slipped this in or if you have some point of fact you can refer to in support of what you are saying. Remember, when it comes to contract disputes, the Korean language will be the primary language. This means you should probably have someone that is Korean read through the sections to which you are referring. I hope it works out for you.

15.5 hours a DAY? I'm fairly sure that's not legal (see the KLSA) unless you meant WEEK. And if staying overnight I'd demand overtime pay.

I'd demand overtime for anything over eight hours per day.

Come to think of it... no I wouldn't... I'd just refuse to do it. Overtime is optional.

I called immigration at 1345 and they said I could not work the camp as I'm only authorized to work at my college. Since the university is another company not related to the college regardless of ownership my contract only applies to my college.

They can not force me to work for another company. The contract says I have to work camps. It does not stipulate where.

And yes, 7:00 AM to 10:30 PM is the schedule I received. You get a couple of hours off but you have to be there the whole time. 105 hours a week for three weeks.

The compensation is 4 million won.

If you work at 30k an hour for 105 hours it should be 3 million a week, about 10 million total.
