I have been told that I am allowed to show a movie/cartoon to the students next week as their final exams will be over and it will be difficult to motivate them if we actually try to teach.

Do you know of any short movies/cartoons which middle school Korean students love? It would have to be in English of course. Ideally it should be something which students can watch in a 45 minute session . Any suggestions?

PIXAR movies usually go over well with K-students of all ages.

I would show the Three Stooges. Not short like a cartoon but long enough to keep them occupied plus I think the English at times is not too hard!

I love THESE VIDEOS Hand picked and there are resources to accompany the Big Snit and others on EFL Classroom's NFB page.

We also have materials for the Grommit videos. Handouts etc... A member just put up a nice quiz game for it...

We are nearing 1,000 of the best videos for EFL Teaching/Learning on EFL Classroom 2.0. Just click on a tag and get what you want. Here's my list of the best - but check the A/V player under Assorted for some cool ones like "Mr. Morton is the subject of the sentence.".... http://veewow.com/playlist-yg-THE-BEST-EFL-TEACHING-VIDEOS

Wow! Thanks guys for all the great suggestions. Even, if I don't use some of those ideas Monday, I will definitely save it for another time. Kids also have exams in the fall semester after all. Very Happy Ddeubel, by any chance, do you have a link to the Wallace and Grommit videos and materials. I tried to look for it under the video section but I couldn't find it. Crying or Very sad Your assistance would be appreciated. Very Happy

Snowleopard,

Go HERE.

Each section of EFL Classroom 2.0 has a search box . Video/Forum / Blogs / Resources. Go to that section and use the search box. The main one at the top , just pulls in too much stuff. Alternatively, also just click on any of the tags for content/discussion and get all similar tags.

However, in a few weeks I'll have a giant tag cloud which will pull up all content for any word. Just getting the API going and also spending hours retagging/tagging properly. I think teachers will find it helpful.

Enjoy Wallace & Grommit,

DD
