I did a search on the forum for information about them, but wasn't really able to determine whether they're readily available in Korea. Are they common to find? |

Centrum A to Zinc is readily available comes in a package of a 100 capsule container + a 30 capsule container usually for 12,000 - 15,000 won at pharmacies - OR 10,000 won at Namdaemun market (good value for 4 months supply of multi-vitamins). |

When would be the best time of day to take a vitamin? Morning for the day ahead or night for the recuperation time? I guess you could take them at both times but if one wanted to take only one a day... |

It actually depends on which vitamin and with which food you take it. |

If you will be living in Seoul or Busan you will be able to find a variety of multi-vitamins quite easily. However, living in a smaller city won't make your search easy, although most places carry Centrum.
If you use EFA's, Vit. B12, Vit. C, Ecchenesia, St. John's Wort, etc., I would suggest bringing a supply with you to last you until you find a place to buy them over here.
Bring cold medication too! The stuff you can buy at the pharmacy over here sucks compared to the stuff you are used to at home. Bring a supply of Tylonal cold and flu, or Nyquil, etc. You'll be thankful. |

this is not a difficult question... considering you pee out any vitamin tablet you take within a couple of hours.
pharmacies in every city carry an exellent range of multivitamins..
be it a small or large city.
mr. garp... mr (18" biceps) you should know this. 1 in the morning and 1 at night is best.. failing that, just 1 in the morning would be much better for you, at least you will get some benefit from it in your day.
this is not a big deal. i buy beecom CF.. these guys are loaded with goodies, all the B's, C, F, and twice as much stuff that i can't read & understand..... 100 pills cost me 16 thou
tylenol is available at every pharmacy. for a cold, go to the hospital and they will prescribe you stuff that has dropped any cold i have had in 2 days..
don't worry about meds.. there are plenty here
unless you want morphine pills, there are none. |

Actually, I haven't taken a vitamin since my mom gave me Flintstones Chewables in elementary school. I would think night time would be best as your body could use it as it regenerates. Then again I've heard vitamins should be taken with food so anyone trying to lose weight would find this to be inconvenient. In any event I always start mornings with fruit and egg whites so I'm not really worried about it but I am curious all the same. |
