Christianity is a vile religion when compared to Buddhism. If there is one thing I hate about missionaries, it's the conversion of Korea...what exactly were they saving them from? A peaceful life of Buddhism, the world's most peaceful religion?

Christianity is aggressive, exclusionary and spiteful despite some of the great things within it's teachings.

At least it seems that sort of thing (violence against Buddhism)is not occuring anymore in Korea.

Frank T. did a great job compiling 15 ywaers worth of crap that so called Xians did. He's an old friend and colleague. It's so sad to see certain Xiand doing freakish misery on others. For the love of god, I wish they would stop it!

I'm a buddhist, and I teach at a private christian school in Korea. All the staff know about my faith, and I wai my principal when I see her (she's a nun). I enjoy going to the schools' christian ceremonies, but the kids don't know (or care) about their teachers' denominations.

No problems round here.

I teach at a school in the boonies. Last week I was handed a small pamphlet/comic strip that I didn't understand entirely, but clearly showed a Christian priest berating and shaming a Buddhist monk.

It's a shame that Christianity promotes belittling faiths that aren't their own.

I agree. But whilst they are not equally indecent, they are equally false, and let's not forget that Buddhists have committed their own atrocities - Sri Lanka, for instance.

Westerners who believe these silly little Eastern faiths are pathetic in my view, but do as you please.

Isn't it easier to believe in a Creator than not to? How do you explain the beginning of the universe? You simply can not have something created from nothing.

Christianity is not a vile religion. It is a religion of hope that you will wish you embraced one day.

It's completely possible that our human notion of time - beginings and endings - is a polarised absolutist fallacy (try saying that with a mouthful of bunddeggii) and that the universe has always just been in some form or other. Completely reasonable in fact. We only have these notions as we are projecting the knowledge of our own births and deaths onto external reality...

Easier to believe many things than try to find the truth.

I don't. How do you?

Fine, who created God?

Believe, or else you'll be sorry!

Yeah, that's not vile. You go live in paradise we burn in hell.

These arguments are tiring. Isn't there some atheist-bot we can get for this site?

I'm a convinced atheist, so not to me

Well, one could begin by reading something on quantum physics

Find me one single physicist - just one who agrees with this statement

Even if Christianity is 100% true, I want nothing to do with it and would prefer the company of Lucifer and all His dark, hellish, blasphemous delights. The best I can say about Christianity is that there are things I despise more, like Islam and socialism.
