|
|
Just moved to Korea and I'd like to set-up the internet/cable TV as soon as possible. I have a week off before starting work, so I haven't registered my ARC and I don't have a bank account yet. Hopefully that'll be sorted by the end of next week though.
I'm from England, so as many English or English speaking channels would be ace. BBC and ESPN would be the main ones for me.
Also, will I be given just a box to install or will a satellite be required?
And will it be a monthly contract (after set-up costs) or a year?
Any links (in English) would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers! |

Not too sure about cable providers. I've never payed for cable since I've been here. I prefer watching tv shows online.
As far as internet goes, I recommend KT megapass. It's pretty cheap and really fast. I think the best speed I got when downloading something was about 10Mb/sec. I think it costs about 30,000/month.
I'd give more specific information, but for some reason, my apartment came with a cable modem and internet service that I'm not being charged for. |
