Brussels Sprouts should be on that poll, too. And isn't it spelt 'yuckiest'? Cauliflower?

Is Yukyest a city in eastern Russia? Oh, you mean

"What do you think are the yuckiest vegetables?"

My mistake.

Yeah! Another one for the grammar police!

they're all good when cooked well, but I think brussels sprouts have the most potential for awfulness when done badly.

I like all three, and brussel sprouts. Turnips get my vote as least appealing, softball sized chunks of wood that they are.

Celery is the most evil thing to ever sprout from the earth. People rave about it's negative calorie content, but that's no excuse for completely ruining sandwiches and salads.

Brussels sprouts was the first thing that came to my mind too. I hated those things. Cauliflower and celery are too bland to be hated. My father allowed each of us to choose one food we didn't have to eat because he admitted there was one food he would choose never to eat - okra. I chose eggplant, which I think I would like if cooked well and in certain dishes, but my mom's eggplant dish was terrible-and I loved her food for the most part. I also would add lima beans to the list.

I take an exceptionally dim view of people who dislike any of those in the poll. After potatoes, they're probably my favorite three.

You forgot mushrooms, olives, cabbage, Korean radish (the big ones), kimchi, pumpkin leaves, zucchini (courgettes...bleah!) and eggplant (it's like snot with purple skin).

I more or less can enjoy every commonly known food except bundigee and Natto.

I reject that they are even supposed to be eaten by humans.

None of those 3 are yucky, but some things like deep fried slices of a Korean vegetable with big holes in each slice is yucky. Brackenfern is yucky. Cilantro is yucky. Hard white corn like we feed livestock with is yucky for humans as it's just not yummy like sweet yellow corn on the cob, but it sustains life like the same as white polished rice. My gourmet pallate deserves long grain wild rice and sweet yeller corn on the cob. OP's 3 veggies are all good ones.

Forget boendeggi as it's not a veggie, but is super duper yuckiest.

Cauliflower is okay, smothered in a rich, blue cheese sauce.

Carrots are okay, chopped finely, & cooked in a meat pie or casserole

Celery, is fine, with cheese dip, or cracked pepper.

In short, all of the above are bland & insipid on their own, but tolerable with condiments & other food dressings / combinations.

Quite a few Koreans intensely dislike avocado or guacamole dip.

Those who hate eggplant should try a nice baba ghanoush, or however it's spelled.
