I was going to be doing a major trip using Istanbul as my arrival and return point, as well as planning on spending maybe 8-10 days there total. That's not possible any more.

The original plan was: istanbul, Cairo, Beirut, Jordan, Israel, Greece, Balkans, Istanbul.

So I'm looking for suggestions of what to do.

Going to be canceling/refunding my original ticket so anything is open.

I was thinking the balkans but for a shorter trip. But if someone says South America and has a good reason why, that's doable.

I've been just about everywhere in SE Asia, so not looking in this part of the world.

Thanks

I've got from July 18 to August 25th.

Budget, well, I was planning on about 5 million won for the other trip. But ideally I can cut that down a bit, if not a lot.

Interests in landscapes, architecture, historical events and places. The aim was to see things that I was not likely to visit again.
