I'm drinking soju and Gatorade. A big glass with just a little less soju than Gatorade. Better that way.
Soju is my enemy.
소주는 나의 적이다. |

Well I'm not Mr. Moneybags like you. Do you light your cigars with 100-dollar bills, too? |

Nice-uh.
I started taking our mutual friend's advice
Him - 'DWAEJIMORIGUKBAP you need too stop hanging around with those poker geeks. You used to be a cool guy..'
Me - 'Yeah but what else am I gonna do... life can get kinda boring...'
Him - 'drink like I do. It's fun and it's a lot cheaper. We had a good time tonight right?'
Me - 'Yeah'
him - 'And we spent like man won each...'
Me - 'true.'
I've been drunk after work every night this week. He's right; it's cheaper. It's kinda fun too..... I'm also putting in 45 mins of yoga or walking twice up Namsan every day when I get home before I start drinking (either drinking alone or with friends) so it's not taking too hard a toll. Also I found a pint of water before bed eliminates the worst of the morning after effects.
Tonight I'm considering drinking beer if I go out with poeple.
But it looks like I wont be, so I'm thinking -
two of the tall cans of CASS-uh, followed by a bottle of chongha. That's enough to get me buzzed out until I've watched a movie, gone for a stroll with a fag (no, not that type) and settle down to bed. Hey - I'm a lightweight, so what..?
Well Ying, swig a few for me as I wont be home for another hour or so....
laters..... |

Might I suggest this co*ktail that has, in my opinion, the most enticement, as well as having the most amount of ingredients not available here in Korea.
Basil 8
In a cocktail shaker, muddle 4 of the basil leaves with 4 of the white grapes and the simple syrup. Add ice and the vodka, lime juice and bitters and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass and stir in the ginger ale. Garnish with the remaining 2 basil leaves and 2 grapes.
I guess you could change soju for vodka and go from there...
I'm drinking whiskey and Cherry Coke right now. |

Crap yingwen is low class, I'm middle class and Hapki is on the cusp of upper class, trying to break out of middle. |
