What I can't figure out...is on principle, every Republican/Conservative I knew was STRONGLY pro-Iraq...the Republican Party's platform was 100 years in Iraq, and the entire party gung-ho about more and more war. ALL in the name of anti-terrorism, anti-Al Quaeda, etc. Watching the Republican Convention, it was one big 'up onesmanship on one would bring more terror to terrorism than the next'

Constant themes of ruin the country financial if you need to, but we want protection from terrorism, and Iraq was KEY to it.

However...now that the U.S. Marines are actually IN the terrorist regions and actually REALLY dealing with Al Quaeda...I mean REALLY there...I haven't heard from ANY conservative/republicans with anything to say about this whatsoever. NONE. Isn't this a great thing for those adament anti-terrorist, anti-Al Quaeda at ALL costs people?

To me, it shows that Republicans have NO principles...either you believe in something or not. Now they are long gone...
