| PSPs are great toys. Get it modded and all that stuff to play the games right from the memory stick. I like mine a lot but I hardly ever play games on it these days, mostly ebooks. They're cheap enough, too. |

The Final Fantasy series out on PSP. DS doesn't have them. I think the FF series on PSP are up to Dissidia and a few others. |

| OK FF IV isn't exactly new, but it's a quality remake, none-the-less. |

By the time I got round to replying I expect you've done some research and know more about the DSi than I. I'll give it a go though.
Basically, the DSi has a couple of cameras and a downloadable service called DSiWare (I think). Most of the stuff coming out on it is crap. And the battery life on the DSi is supposed to be less than the DS Lite. In my opinion, stick with the DS Lite.
Oh yeah... a funny little tidbit about the DSi - when you take photos, it makes a loud photo-taking sound which you can not turn off. Supposedly to stop 변태's taking naughty photos. Gotta love Nintendo! |

| I'm slogging through the Dark Spire on DS right now. It's hardcore old-school D&D based kick your ass difficult. Awesome. |

| I'd do a little more research before you make a decision. Lots of factors to consider. Cost? The DS wins. Power? The PSP does. Hackability? The PSP 1000s and 2000s are fine, but the 3000 is only ok for homebrew at this point. You also have to be aware that the PSP Go is coming really soon. If I wanted the newest of the new, I'd wait for the Go. If I wanted hackable, I'd go for the PSP 2000. If I wanted the nifty touch-screen with games that are not really ones I'm interested in (Mario, etc), I'd go for the DS. Google "Nintendo DSLite vs PSP" and take a look. Personally, I'd go for the PSP of any flavour, but that's what I want. |
