NOT my opinion, it's the name of the article. Wink

You have to wonder how many adjummas were interviewed for this data!

Yes, I'm sure they tolerate it with both eyes.

I love seeing those legs in a miniskirt and heels walking down the street, but I don't think those ladies are getting taken seriously when they're wearing that to the office. If I wore my tear off Hulkamania shirt to the office to show off the guns I don't think I'd get taken too seriously either.

This is an easy one to figure out. It's all the married women complaining.

They're worried about their husbands perving on the hot, sexy secretaries in mini skirts. They're also worried about their husbands banging more of the secretaries than they usually do and having less time for them, and/or the possibility of losing a husband to one of those secretaries.

I find the first comment on the article rather ironic since it is listed directly below the disclaimer stating comments insulting a race or sex will notbe tolerated, and further stating that all comments should be related to the subject matter of the article.

Way to go KT!!

They might get taken seriously, but that's probably why they were hired. Korean chicks wear miniskirts every where and sometimes it gets ridiculous when they're wearing it in church or while skiing

the miniskirt is the one thing that keeps the waegukin men flowing into this country.

I went to a church potluck/picnic a month ago and there was this woman wearing very short shirts with very high heels and a tight sleeveless shirt and she stuck out like a sore thumb. Evidently, no one wants to tell her that this is inappropriate because they are afraid of "cultural" issues...she's married too. They would probably tell a single waygook to go home and change her clothes if she came to church dressed like that.

It was Christmas time in Seoul back in 2008, and despite the chilling temperatures, girls were still flaunting their stuff (or lack of stuff) in mini-skirts and whatnot. I turn a corner and what do I see? A girl in a mini-skirt fall into the Cheonggyecheon stream as she's walking across it on one of those stone bridges. I couldn't stop laughing.

Well, what's funny is the definitely non-Korean picture Yahoo attached with the blurb about Korean attitudes towards skimpy outfits:

I would say "ew" to someone who wore a skirt so short that it showed her panties when she bent over.

What is she, five? No, I don't think so.

Put on big-girl clothes, thanks.

In Korea a woman's only value is in her looks, and only way to power and influence is to catch the eye of a man. You can hardly blame them.

if the same married mothers who are complaining would stop having more boys than girls, and stop raising said darling boys to become such chauvinists then there would be no problem.

Women would then become valued for their skills and intellect, as they are in the west, and feel free to dress as scruffily as they wished.
