Well, I find ways to keep busy on the weekends, but Monday-Thursday drive me crazy... I only get like 5 channels on tv and I don't speak Korean anyway (though I'm studying... but that gets old after a while in terms of entertainment). The few people I know here have night time obligations (either teaching or family) that require their attention.

What's a guy to do?

I go to the gym after work to drive the demons out of my body. Then I come home a cook a decent meal, all in all it takes a good three hour chunk of time to do all that...quite a time killer.

I really like to sleep as well.

I don't usually drink during the week, which is the occupier of choice for many people I meet here.

If I'm bad I post here, if I'm good I make music on my synth, and just brought a guitar, I'm going mad on Sam Cooke songs, got two learned already and I'm gonna work through his whole greatest hits CD. Bit of Korean study but I've got to get more disciplined. No tv, thank god.

I don't get the AFKN channel...
The only book I have in English I've read about 20 times in the last three months...
I definately don't want to get into the habit of drinking on weekends...
It'd be damn nice to get my xbox fixed, but even that gets old when you're just playing the computer.

I think when the weather is warm, I'll enjoy going outside for a stroll again. It'll be nice to toss on a Hawaiian shirt, some sandals, and shorts and head out for a walk downtown... try out a different restaurant every night and such... but I'll be damned if I'm doing that in this weather.

Why not? I'm a relaxed kinda guy... I'd never wear it to work, but when I'm out on a warm 85 degree evening, I'm all about kickin' back and relaxin' in some comfortable clothes.

Yes, but how often do you see Koreans wearing shorts and sandals away from the beach?
