Has anyone ever negotiated a change in their EPIK contract? For instance maybe change the part that says your not alloud to have another job? Thanks

not going to happen as your work visa is attached to the company you work for...work outside of that company and it is illegal. Work illegally and someone gets to turn you in and claim some cash...and you get deported.

what if you're F2/4/5? despite the contract saying you can "only work for the PS"? They can't really do anything if you do as they don't sponsor your visa?

As I understand Korean PS teachers also are not supposed to have any other jobs. Some rule that applies to people in civil service jobs, I heard. Not that this rule is never broken mind.

They can't really do anything if you do take another job? Well, they can't deport you. But they could fire you for breach of contract. The best way to maximise the chances of them not doing anything about it would be to not tell them in the first place......although I'd expect the chance of them still finding out could be high.
