Hi guys,

I'm moving to Busan next Wednesday. Bringing over a few Dvd's that I couldn't live without! They are region 2 (UK & Ireland). I can buy a multiregion here at home, but I'd prefer not to for transportation reasons.

You can find region free DVD players here rather easily. I bought one at Yongsan mall 3 years ago. I can't quite remember the price, but it wasn't over 50,000W.

Cheers

I think you can get a mutiregion player no problem I would more be worried about if the DVD's are PAL format verses NTSC. Korea is NTSC. Ireland is PAL.

Good Luck!

If you search online, most major brand DVD players have a "reset code" which removes all region protection. A long while ago, I "reset" every DVD player in my folks' house--probably about 5. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. It's usually a matter of pressing a few buttons on your remote.
