I'm getting 620, 000 won for 6 days of camp. Each day is four hours.

Seems fair. Should I have any complaints?

Will you be a legal teacher? If not you might not get your pay.

less than 25k an hour...seems low for your school raking in some big $$

Truthfully, I feel lucky to get anything.

I thought the summer camp stuff was free.

Then stop complaining. It's not the best wages, but it's only a week. If you're not doing anything else do it and get a PS3 or X-box.

I'm not complaining.

What I'm doing is fishing. I'm trying to find out if everyone else is getting roughly the same, less, or more.

Here fishie fishie fishie.

I don't think PS teachers get paid for summer camp. No one has told me anything about it other than "give us a 30 page detailed lesson plan for 20 hours of teaching."

I think public school camps are lucky dip. I will do a compulsary one week camp at my school 9-12 and get 30,000 a day. I will do a voluntary 8 day, 9-12 with one field trip day, camp at another school for 30,000 an hour.

30k a day--that sounds about right, what I got for winter camp. I guess I should just assume summer camp is the same, however my workload has increased 5x and has about 25x the students (witer camp = 2 students. summer camp = 50)

Wow, 600 bucks basically for 6 days. Holy...most people in regular jobs don't make 100 bucks a day.

And that 28 dollars a day for P.S. is if they are nice. I got that for my winter camp but now for summer, nothing. Depends on their mood.

You know that's good money that you're getting, come on. Don't tell me about it. Sad

The breakdown goes like this:

Middle school camp is one day at 30,000 an hour.

High school is five days at 25,000 an hour.

Hey OP. I'm lucky in that the place I work has A LOT of extra-money opportunities. I'll be working a camp in a couple of weeks for 30 an hour, our standard OT rate. This doesn't include the lesson planning fee, which, I'd rather not post. The lesson planning fee (bascially materials development) and the hourly rate on top of my salary, well, it's decent. It looks like 30 an hour is standard these days, but I may be wrong. I hope this helps.
