I mean come on! I used a full size golf umbrella on the way to work yo and I'm still drenched from head to foot! Why can't Korea have proper weather yo? I mean in the states we don't have to put up with this cr@p and even if we did the government would get the military to really [MOD EDIT] the rain up and it would get it's arse kicked!!

I walk to school in shorts and a tshirt then get dressed when I arrive. It's crazy and the rain usually shuts off at 9.10 only to start back up again at 4.15.

What I hate almost as much as rain is people who say they like rain.

God, yeah right. They're just being romantic idealists. I bet they hate it as much as we do, but just can't accept the fact as their heads would explode trying to deal with it... I bet they think snow is beautiful too. NO! Snow is cold and wet, it gets over your nice Clarkes Wallaby's, [MOD EDIT] them up and makes your feet wet and cold... I bet, I bet she cut Manny's throat! I bet she'd cut my balls off given half a chance!

if you listen to English radio, the tips for soldiers surviving monsoon season are very funny. a) bring an umbrella or a change of clothing in case you get wet. b) drive carefully and don't park your car anywhere it might get flooded. c) pay attention to weather conditions. Laughing

yah, because I couldn't figure out any of those things on my own!

Well I like the rain because it makes things cooler but it's a pain going out. Hate getting wet and having to carry around an umbrella. Sure wish I had a car here. Then it wouldn't matter at all.

Why wouldn't you love the rain?

It's like a ghetto shower.

I love the rain when I'm inside, it's very calm and soothing to hear the pitter patter outside...

Also rain can make you feel nice and warm inside... drip drip drop

I'm from Oregon where it rains 9 months per year, so I'm quite used to it.

Is the title of this thread from a Missy Eliot song?

Count your blessings, you fools! Just keep praying the rain continues 'cause when it stops, the heat and humidity will be here. At least right now, the nights still cool down and you can sleep. Eight weeks or so of pure hell is coming.

He's right too. Today's onslaught is merely a hint of what's to come at the end of July and the whole of august...

Walking to work almost killed me today....

And air conditioners is also the key to combatting global warming. Turn them on full blast with the windows open. Better yet, just put them outside all over the planet and that should end this problem once and for all. Very Happy
