Yes, and then they followed it up with the rousing piece of crap known as gears of war 2.

Positive negated

Yeah thats true.....I haven't played it but the reviews haven't been as favorable as the original..oh well...

Still waiting for that game of Super Contra...I still need one more achievement.

The game was good, the multiplayer was manhandled by a horde of patches.

I need a new controller for super contra, it's a sensitive game.
I'll give american game designers their due tho,
assuming that prototype was american made. That games entertaining

If you're gonna make an argument like this, you need to do more historical research.

1950s also was when Americans died to fight off invading communists off of South Korea. Yeah, that's a huge embarassment Rolling Eyes

Oh BTW I was in Sindorim last week and I think this saturday they are having a Street Fighter 4 Tournament if you are in Seoul at the time. I'm debating, but if it's the same arcade version as the one I was playing in Tokyo last month Cammy isn't in it, and that hurts my chances a lot

Please read the original post

If I wanted to make a strong argument I would have done research, I was making a lighthearted response whereas I hit the wrong button and started a new topic. And when I say the 50's I pretty much mean the pop culture, sorry but it's disgusting.

Fermentation has a point, the White House was burned in 1812 war, but was not burned down.

Also, The Dominion of Canada came in to existence by Confederation which came into effect on July 1st, 1867.

Neutral

Yeah I'm down here in Daegu so I don't think I'll be able to make it,..even though I'd probably get my ass handed to me if I entered...it would be nice to watch. Haven't played much of 4.....played the hell out of 2 when I was younger.

I don't understand why so many Canadians hang their hat on the White House burning thing. Americans burned down Canadian parliament so Canada asks the British to retaliate and they oblige, hardly something I'd brag about. Canadians have openly bragged to me about how they're the only country to beat the USA in a war.
I like Canada a lot, but bringing up 1812? Insecure? Overcompensation?

Yeah these days it seems that the American made games are more interesting to me these days than the Japanese ones. I grew up playing predominantly Japanese made games...especially JRPGs. Nothing really interesting was coming out of the states in those days..at least to me.

Nowadays the states is coming out with stuff that has been better than what I've seen from Japan (RE5 was awesome though)

I actually asked my Canadian buddy about that, he related it to how some short people overcompensate in their behavior for being short. In his words "Canadians have to overcompensate for being smaller by ripping on Americans."

He said it was mostly on the east side of Canada though and that the west side was better towards Americans.

Who cares what the OP thinks, he's American and is (according to his own logic) ipso facto an embarrassment.

Hopefully, he's one of the Americans who sews a Canadian flag onto his backpack. Wink
